A thousand years ago the space now occupied by Kitch was the home of La Belle Epoque, famed for its matchstick chips and rustic, clay-tiled floors. Now ranked by TripAdvisor as one of the top 20 restaurants in Belfast, Kitch aims to bring ‘that something different’ to the lunchtime and evening diner with dinner on their mind..
In 2015, I was approached by Munish Sharma to establish a brand identity for ‘Kitch’, the latest edition to the Sharma Group portfolio opened on the Dublin Road in Belfast.
Younger sibling of the acclaimed Indian restaurant Archana, this space is an extension of the owners personality and experience, where great food is paired with an evolving and slightly offbeat interior accentuated with promotional material that aims to bring a smile to the mind with a bright, enthusiastic and charming message.
Several branding concepts were created before arriving at a unadorned and discernible logotype. This logotype was then agreed and a full roll out of the brand has been applied across all company literature.
