Working as in house Lead Graphic Designer between May 2020 – March 2022, the design systems that were initiatedduring this time are still in place today.
Working closely with the marketing team and company director, we achieved a brand overhaul of cross platform systems, giving indigo an instantly recognisable – modern yet fun tone of voice to its infamous loyal AV installer customer base.
I also was part of a small development team in setting the foundations to SAAS sister company Specifi, setting brand guidelines and application, as well as UI / UX design of the Specifi software app, social media voice including marketing livery and how to videos.

Since 1946, Klipsch has been providing legendary sound through speakers, headphones & home audio. Custom Install is continually growing in residential home cinema and commercial markets.
Indigo distribution was the first in the UK to receive the Klipsch Real Custom Cinema Behind the screen home and small theatre system. With this a growing market and with limited resources available from the supplier we had to make our own.
The brief was to revive and update marketing materials for the Klipsch Custom Install and speaker 2021 product range. Tweaking an already refined graphic toolkit, I set the grounds in building characterful, engaging brand material for buyers of this range and bespoke client aimed presentations for digital download and print.
Klipsch Audio Custom install
My role at indigo distribution included creating technical data sheets and presentations for pipeline bid tenders, social media content and supporting material for the sales and marketing team for promotions and trade shows.
Indigo developed and enhanced its own brand voice for each of their recognisable technical products, while also retaining and working to brand guidelines and usage of the core key brands that they stocked.
360 product photography
I was also responsible for 360 Product Photography and archive of product inventory for website publication and marketing collateral using the in house 360 photo Orbitvu Alphashot XL, custom software and DSLR Camera which included 100’s of products ranging from light switches and data boards to large speakers and subwoofers.
Images of Klipsch Custom install products were only 3D renders up to this point and these photographed images are now used across the range by the Klispch brand its suppliers internet wide.
Web design
I also worked with the small team of in house developers to identify opportunities for UI feature systematisation.
We designed, wire-framed and prototyped UI in the context of a reusable scalable design system to enhance online customer engagement.
We applied a more visual based system to the interface than what was previously built upon, balancing colour and image, and with marketing based research on UX and user heat maps, provided strategies to engage its customers being a more interesting place to visit and nail that call to action to convert sales and leads.
